and New Work by Gallery Artists

Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 12 - 6PM

Garden of the Gods Colorado Spring

Hanig’s paintings consist of small squares, creating a mosaic-like effect, establishing unexpected visual rhythms. Each square is different from the others—like words in a dictionary—and is arranged on canvas like phrases in a book. This show is a chapter called Western Landscape, inspired by her recent trip to Colorado and New Mexico.

Mina Oka Hanig is a Washington DC area artist born and raised in Japan. She works and exhibits at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, studio 225. Samples of her work can be seen at www.torpedofactory.org.
