Waverly Street Gallery is pleased to announce the opening show of the 2012 fall season, David Yano's Stroke of Genius.
This is the first show by member artist, David Yano since his stroke in 2010. The show includes, mobiles, sculptures, and photographs that bridge the time frame before his most recent medical problems and throughout the two and an half years since.
David Yano will give a talk on September 8, 2012 on “Art in the Recovery Process: A Personal Experience”. This talk will focus on the role art has played in his recovery from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Stroke.
