Waverly Street Gallery is one of the oldest fine art Galleries in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Opening as “Creative Partners" in 1993 the name was changed to Waverly Street Gallery in 2007. The Gallery features contemporary visual artists working in a wide range of media. Gallery artists include painters, printmakers, sculptors, ceramic artists, glass artists, photographers and jewelers. Monthly exhibitions showcase original artwork in many genres including representational, impressionistic and abstract art.
Opening receptions are held on the second Friday of the month. With a dynamic calendar of events, demonstrations, and artist opportunities, Waverly Street Gallery is an active member of the Bethesda Arts and Entertainment district.
The gallery offers workshops, artist talks, and a bulletin board of area art events. The gallery is also available on a rental basis for meetings and other special events.
